Position: Local Account Manager, NY (Downstate New York area)

Individual should possess the right balance of relationship-building skills and motivation to develop and grow IME sales in the NY/NJ market.
Successful candidate will have a strong Workers’ Comp or Auto claims background and an interest in a rewarding sales career.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule
  • Research and cultivate new accounts to grow IME business
  • Generate new IME business within existing accounts
  • Meet weekly activity and production goals
  • Assist with forecasting account sales based on activity and market knowledge
  • Maintain client database with updates on activity, visits and opportunities
  • Create and present marketing plans for market growth
  • Assist current accounts with various needs; including transfer of documents
  • Work with Sales Management to target volume growth by individual requester within target accounts
  • Gather current marketplace information to remain competitive with fees, products and services
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in networking events, workshops and conferences


  • 2+ years of Claims Adjuster experienced managing and handling Workers’ Compensation and Auto/Liability in the claims arena
  • Experience with IME process in the Workers’ Compensation and Auto/Liability market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Motivation for outside sales with strong prospecting skills
  • Demonstrated impact in previous organizations
  • Ability and experience with technology and the ability to learn and articulate our system capabilities
  • College degree preferred
  • Proven leadership abilities with strong organization and time management skills
