President’s Letter

March 30, 2026

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

I’m so pleased to introduce you to the New York Claim Association – the premier not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of professional ethics and education in the field of insurance in New York State. Founded 100+ years ago, NYCA provides education, advocacy, networking, and resources to companies and members of the insurance community.

We serve insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third-party administrators, attorneys, risk managers, physicians, medical vendors, nurse case managers, and other industry professionals. We host workshops featuring some of the leading professionals in the industry. And we gather for fun activities like our annual golf outing and black-tie holiday gala.

What’s New in 2026?

At NYCA, we are continually focused on enhancing our services and delivering greater value to our members. We’ve successfully returned to in-person educational sessions and will continue to offer timely, relevant programming on topics that matter most to your business.

At the same time, we recognize the evolving ways professionals engage and learn, and we remain committed to exploring flexible and innovative approaches to delivering our educational content.

Most importantly, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and welcome your input. We encourage you to share the topics and programming you’d like to see as we shape the future of NYCA together.

A Personal Invitation

As NYCA president,

It is a privilege to serve as President of the New York Claim Association—an organization that has supported and strengthened the insurance and risk management community for more than a century.

Today, our industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace. From emerging risks and regulatory shifts to advances in technology and claims management, staying informed and connected has never been more important. At NYCA, our mission remains clear: to provide meaningful education, foster professional relationships, and uphold the highest standards of ethics across our community.

Over the past year, we have continued to build momentum through engaging educational programs and well-attended events that bring together professionals from across the industry. Our commitment is not only to deliver relevant, timely content, but to create opportunities for collaboration and dialogue that help our members navigate an increasingly complex landscape.

Looking ahead, we are focused on expanding our reach and enhancing the value we provide. This includes growing our membership, introducing new educational formats, and ensuring our programming reflects the challenges and opportunities facing today’s insurance professionals.

Whether you are a long-standing member or considering joining for the first time, I invite you to be an active part of NYCA. Attend our events, connect with peers, and help us continue to build a strong, engaged community.

Together, we will honor the legacy of this organization while shaping its future.

Thank you for your continued support.
